Potential problems of interviewing on the record at Biola University and how to overcome them

Giving an attribution in an interview on campus may cause danger to a person’s identity and relationships to their peers and colleagues. This may also depend on the story that is being told and how controversial is may be. It could also give them praise, or problems as people on campus read about what they said. This person might have a certain reputation to live up to because of certain credentials or class that they teach.
A journalist’s job is to tell the truth, and if someone is being honest, we are expected to give a truthful story. We might be looked down upon for putting in a quote that well fit the story. We can overcome by knowing we are giving information that is useful to the campus. We could also be reminded of God’s love and know that he has everything under control.
